Vintage on the Prom

An annual event in Arnside. Interesting vehicles but I was a bit sad that this year I could not find anyone dressed up in period costume.

My extra shows the fruit of a very rare variety of the Whitebeam tree. Its called Morecambe Bay Whitebeam and is only found in a few places on the edge of Morecambe Bay. Its Latin name is Sorbus lancastriensis.
