Waving clouds

Where we live on top of hill we have a wide expanse of sky where we can watch the cloud formations in a panoramic view.  Sometimes they are very strange and beautiful like this one.

Another hot day.  T continued hedging on the farm.  Baby I had a bad cold.  Did some gardening and then E dropped round for a cup of tea and we sat enjoying the heat in the garden.  There can't be many days like this until the late autumn and  winter set in.  

Update:  this is a Kelvin-Helmholtz cloud formed by a difference of wind speed in two layers of air.  The upper layer is faster and will create the wave-like formation of waves at the top of the cloud.
