Red-Veined Darter

It's a female dragonfly, captured on a walk in the Boquera valley on Mallorca, with our English tour group. My second dragonfly in less than a month, following a Meadowhawk in Tamworth--an unusual blipevent :) The little egret in the extra was in a stream near the supermarket where our guides were getting food for our noon picnic. The weather was hot and humid (low 80s F/nearly 30 C) everywhere, which will continue for the rest of the week . I was drenched in sweat already early in our walk.
