Moving the Sheep

A lovely sunny and quite warm day.  We wandered around the hamlets of Mankinholes and Lumbutts (above Todmorden).  This is where I grew up and I always enjoy a 'return visit'.
Spent some time watching this farmer and his dog moving the sheep from their summer grazing fields onto the moor.
When I commented the dog seemed very well trained, he replied "Aye, he's none too bad but he's getting old and thinks he knows more than me"
