Bit the bullet......

.....last night and ordered a new compact camera.....I stuck with Lumix and hopefully it'll endure the same amount of daily abuse for as long as the one it'll be replacing (oh, and that the batteries and battery charger are interchangeable otherwise I might be shelling out some more when it arrives ;-) ) I can't wait! 
The battle-scarred original will be going in for a much-needed service and will probably end up with the granddaughter (even if her phone probably takes higher quality images)......luckily she's well into 'retro'! 
Make, Do and Mend was particularly noisy/fraught for one reason or another this morning.....I'm still in the recovery position.....let's just say it'll be something very, VERY easy for tea tonight.....
