Whoopee, the new camera......

.....arrived a day earlier than expected! It's currently in an 'uncharged battery' condition (and I'm in a 'ooer, better read the instruction manual to work out how to do that' one.....at a first glance it looks like the camera itself acts as a charger and all the relevant cables are in the box ;-) ) Otherwise it looks reassuringly familiar, most importantly right down to the 'Intelligent Auto' setting! 
So in the meantime it's a case of Hold on, I'm coming........maybe tomorrow it'll actually get to take its first blip......

EDIT :: OK (see extra), I'm well impressed, a random first shot of some dormer windows half way down the street, not even on full zoom, SOOC (just cropped square), consider me a happy bunny.......
