An Adventure - Day 7

Thank you so much for your reaction to my holiday blips - really is appreciated - do look at yours - but time and t’interweb connections mean I have to resort to sprinkling stars and hearts rather than comments

After sleeping upstairs on the overnight double decker bus from Nazca - arrived via the Andes at Arequipa - Peru’s second largest city - which has volcanos to three sides - lots of baroque buildings constructed from volcanic stone - known as the white city - over 7600 feet above sea level - which could explain why we found it tiring walking - especially up hills - the oxygen content of the air was less than were used to - and it was hot - this view looking up the street from accommodation - snow on the high ground

Was a breath of fresh air to go out for another group meal this evening - tomorrow we go to an even higher altitude
