An Adventure - Day 8

As yet haven’t found Paddington Bear - instead have found Llamas - Alpacas - and Vicunas - whose wool commands high prices

Left Arequipa to travel to Chivay - a village near Colca Canyon - roads run through National Park - highest point reached 20,000 feet - touch of altitude sickness - headache - lethargy and wobbly limbs - at a stop at a village on route tried a local tea infused with herbs which was supposed to counteract the symptoms - found paracetamol worked better

The route passed lots of high plains flanked by extensive Pre Inca and Inca terracing that went on for miles - going to a Peruvian Dance and meal tonight - sure we’ll blend in with the natives
