Fish in Water

Was in Weymouth today. Met S on the 10:04 arriving 1 hour later. Did the usual circular walk. Dare I say, another perfect day (this is getting monotonous)?

But really perfect. 17/18C. Rich blue skies. Bright sunshine. Fresh breeze. Low humidity. MY SORT OF DAY.

Wandered down the front, a few swimmers (evenings cool, so guess the water is too now). Then coffee at Coffee Saloon. Sad to hear that branch is closing in a few weeks. The good news, Finca (another favourite, we know them from Dorchester) is opening nearby.

Then along the shopping street (mostly Indies), up a quirky lane, And up the Quay past the fishing boats. The water was a brilliant turquoise.

Had booked lunch for 13:00 at the Hive (veggie/vegan), listed as No 1 restaurant in Weymouth on TA. Pleasantly impressed. Cheerful enthusiastic owner (an expert on bees, produces and sells her own honey - sadly don’t like honey and not considered vegan anyway). Simple, good honest food. Had a lovely salad plate, with about 7 different homemade salads and delicious new potatoes (had to ask what they were, as too late for Jersey Royals - she said they were Welsh).

Back to blip. Both of us are snappers. S is not on blip. I took a series of abstracty reflections in the marina. My preferred choice, featured, is SOOC - have just enhancd the green.

Some other Weymouth shots in extras. Will leave a few days and then remove (thanks Doyley for the advice) to save extras.

Thanks for Ingeborg’s Abstract Thursday optional ‘Fill the Frame’ Challenge. My blip may not be what Ingeborg had in mind, but I assure you it does fill the frame!
