Onions

Ended the day in Burtonwood, only 15 minutes from home, which was nice. This is the motorway services next door, there used to be two of them, one on each side. They were affectionately nicknamed ‘The Onions’.
One of them was demolished some years back, and this one has since been extended to the detriment of its looks imho. Anyway, at least the splendid onion top is still intact, although rumour is that even this one may disappear at some point in the near future.
Shame, but progress marches on etc
