Inside the web

We have a mass of ivy in a hedge whose nectar-rich flowers are currently attracting many wasps, hoverflies and the occasional ivy bee (which we first saw last year). This is a rich hunting ground for garden spiders, whose webs festoon the hedge. The refracted sunlight inside the web is remarkably colourful - I wonder how this appear to the spiders who sit inscrutably in the middle of their webs waiting for dinner.
