Misty Inversion

First proper babysitting day for me as our daughter marked her official return to work after maternity leave with a night shift.

Left home at 7 a.m. and there was some lovely mist about near home so I stopped briefly to snap this view. The sun was just above the mist horizon to the left giving a nice glow in the sky.

School ‘walk’ at 8:10 to deliver eldest granddaughter.. then back for a coffee. Later took baby and the two dogs out for a long walk. Left Finlay at home today so there was not so much noise whilst daughter slept.

Baby Emily finally decided on nap time at 3 p.m. - she was exhausted, as was I.

Left there just before 4 p.m. took an hour to get back (twice as long as it should take).
