Spring Softness

Frosty this morning, then a lovely sunny morning.....and then just to add some variety the fog rolled in this afternoon, now its bleak and cold.

We both enjoyed a couple of hours pottering in the garden this morning - such a joy to be out in the sunshine surrounded by an awakening garden.

This is the nectarine blossom, I've used my Lensbaby @ f/2.8 with +4 macro glass. I set out to make a soft photo, and am happy with the smushy result.

All Blacks opening game at the World Cup tonight against Sth Africa.  For years (for ever) our rugby has been broadcast on Sky.  But oh no, not this time.....Spark Sport have won the rights, it is live streamed at a cost.  Because where we live we haven't got strong enough internet to get the live streaming and we are very annoyed couch potatoes.  Some of the NZ games are on Free to Air but delayed.  None of the other games are available, grrrr. And we’re a rugby loving nation. Apparently the live streaming isn’t up to scratch for those that can get the coverage. It’s really not good enough but money does the talking it seems.
Because of this I think we will record the delayed coverage and watch it in the morning....well thats the plan.
