Emperor Dragonfly

There is still some dragonflies in the garden, seeking the sun to warm up and get ready to patrol. 

The Emperor is the largest and fastest of all the dragonflies in Europe. 38 kph makes it hard (for me) to get a good photo when it makes it's loops and swoops :-)
