The Beauty of a Rose

Mom loved roses and this is one of my favourites of the ones she planted.  I love the colour and the light from this morning.

The 94 year old lady over the road had a fall this afternoon and we had to wait for the paramedics to come and pick her up.  I was a bit disappointed in the son who had to be asked twice to come over but he did come in the end.  She's been taken to hospital now as a precaution.  She really needs a bit more help these days.
