Bread Factory

It has taken a whole day of travelling to reach the Bread Factory.

My brother kindly drove us to Lockerbie, where we caught the train to Manchester Airport and then a flight to Athens, followed by an hour on the Metro to Chris and Fotini's immaculate apartment. They were out celebrating a family baptism, so their neighbour, Anna, let us in. Anna speaks no English so asked her young niece and nephew  Joanna and George, to help us feel at home. Which they did with great enthusiasm and friendliness.

It's already past midnight here, but the Bread Factory is open 24 hours a day. The bakery that never sleeps
