Butleigh

We are staying with our friends in the lovely village of Butleigh, near Street in Somerset. We have stayed here many times before over the past 15 years and I think we are honorary villagers.

The main shot struck me as such a typical village scene. It is the meadow behind the church.

The village is quite old with many buildings being put up in the 16th. Century. One fascinating feature is the Heritage Trail with over 30 of these signs on buildings all around the village. One is shown in my extra.
It is a lovely community and we always enjoy our visits here.
