New shop.

There is always interest when a new shop opens in the village.

Several shops are very well established and have been there for decades. They seem to be weathering the Covid storm.

But this shop over the past seven or eight years has been a health and beauty salon, a sandwich shop, an old fashioned sweets and humbugs store and two different antiques and bric a brac shops.

It has now opened as a ladies clothes, fabrics and haberdashery shop. There is always someone who is full of optimism and self belief. I wish them well.

This plastic lady standing in the window does at least have a certain style.
