The Last Glimmer...

...of the setting sun.  Literally, just 2 seconds after I took the picture that sun blinked out beneath the horizon.
TaiChi went well today and as usual we were totally tired at the end of the day, and very happy we could stay over one more night with Claire, rather than facing the 3 hour drive home! It has been very good to concentrate on our practice totally for two days, led by the lovely Ulf as usual.
As always there were other reasons to be happy staying at Claire's...
- Claire!
- Rusty, her Irish Terrier
- This evening, one of the most spectacular sunsets I have seen.
- The birds - swans, geese and assorted water fowl are gathering on this nature reserve, feeding up before flying south for the winter. There are hundreds just now and all night the swans and geese were "chattering" to each other. Even though they were several hundred meters away their high pitched squawks could be heard, even through the triple glazing or the walls of the house!

The picture is taken from the veranda at the corner of Claire's house - what a place to live!
This link will take you to 6 more sunset photos (and 2 pictures of Rusty) on my flickr site.
