Seasons change

The house plant (Solenostemon scutellarioides) that I had on my little patio this summer froze at the first below freezing temperature. I wasn't careful, because the night frosts are not due until October. But the years are not brothers. The seasons vary regardless of what we do, and the plants that grow in the area where they belong, tolerate ordinary changes.
This Achillea millefolium has prepared itself for the coming winter.
