It isn't easy being green

The onslaught of Goldfinches continued today. A consignment of bird food arrived this afternoon, not a moment too soon. We also got a Greenfinch - not a common sight in our garden. Unlike the Goldfinches, they don't cope well with accessing the feeders, but if I make the food more accessible, it is  quickly gobbled up by Starlings and some of the other larger birds.
