An emergency blip.  After missing a Sunday because of our NC500 trip my Sunday morning sleep in was most welcome.  Busy round home and then quite late in the day Clickychick said "have you taken any photos yet".   Of course I hadn't so it was a quick zoom round the garden to see what there was I hadn't bliped recently.  This rather weather worn Rudbeckia was all that really appealed.

Members of the Asteraceae and native to north America they are along with almost any other daisy shaped flower favourites of Clickychick's.  I wouldn't dare suggest their common name Black-eyed Susans has anything to do with that.
