Illuminated legs

Off to Spalding first thing this morning to see Molly, who appreciated the freshly baked apple and cinnamon loaf I took. Pete's brother, John, is staying with her for a while, and some time was spent discussing options for her future care. This afternoon Pete contacted Lincolnshire County Council to discuss her needs and they've arranged to carry out an assessment on Friday lunchtime - so far we're very impressed by their support and the speed of their response. Hope it continues that way.

I felt quite exhausted this afternoon after all that the last few days has thrown at me, but was somewhat revived by a walk round our local wood. Sadly the recent damp weather hasn't yet stimulated many fungi but there were plenty of spiders around, and still a few common darters in the sunny glades. This spider was actually photographed in the garden - not perfectly in focus but I liked the effect of the light shining though its legs.
