National Colonial Farm

National Colonial Farm is a living history museum that depicts a Maryland middle-class family farm on the eve of the American Revolution. It is situated across the Potomac from Mount Vernon, George Washington's home (photo of Mount Vernon across the river in extra.)
This photo is inside the tobacco barn. It was interesting to see the old tools even though we had no idea which tool performed which task (extra.)
It was kind of cool to be able to shoot inside the dark barn without a flash. It took a lot of spinning of dials to get the lighting.
