Despite the continuation...

... of the miserable, very wet weather, I was in town early enough to capture a dry blip. 

More importantly, I found these two chaps sharing a laugh . I always prefer to find someone having a chuckle because so much of street photography tends to be a bit sombre or serious. They didn't seem interested in the noise and disruption of the cycling championships, which were all around them. 

I couldn't hear what was being said, because I was too close to the very loud, big screen televised commentary of today's first cycle race. It was heading towards Harrogate and I wanted to get away before the roads were closed.
