On copyright

As an owner of animals it hurts me that ponies, cows, sheep, and dogs on pastures and fields are photographed without the permission of their owner. In shows it is customary to ask for permission, but over the years I have seen pictures published here that were taken with no respect for the animal or the owner or the breeder.
