The Stinking Rose*

With apologies to Biker Bear I couldn't resist tagging this elegant head of garlic for flower Friday.  It's Romanian Red hard neck garlic which OilMan is planting inside the ground squirrel cage. According to his research this easy to peel, large clove garlic is the one preferred by chefs. I was struck by this cut-in-half head of garlic and took a picture of it before OilMan spirited it off the the garden.

We have friends visiting from Boulder, Colorado for a couple of days. We have far more catching up to do than we have time to do it in,  so entries and comments may be sparse for a couple of days.
