Wooden Boats

Walked about the Wooden Boat Festival at the south end of the lake this afternoon on the way back from the Opera Open House in the new building  with all the costumes, make up, wig, and prop shops open and a rehearsal for the coming performance of Cinderella in progress.  We sat in the performance hall for a sing along from Musetta’s aria in La Boheme  (I think we wouldn’t be good material for the opera chorus! ...maybe in my next life.) …it’s such a great space open to the street…(extra)  You can see the outside view of this space in upper left of the extra linked above, if you are curious...

But it was such a lovely day I had to blip the lake and the boats… This Adventuress , a youth training schooner, had just been out for a 2 hour sail in a stiff breeze…you can see the crew furling the sail.  Never too many boats to look at.  :-)
