Fiona Friday

After picking up Fiona from school we went to pick up our ceramics from last week…the frozen yogurt  shop is right next door….so….of course.  If it says “we make you smile” Fi will do her best to do the opposite.   However she was a happy kid and we had a walk around the UW Horticultural center on an ok day looking for birds and ducks in nature on this second friday of climate change demonstrations. (there were huge crowds at events in Canada…not so much here this week)     With our sketchbooks. Not many birds or ducks to be seen, but lots of berries!  extra) But her sketches were of electronics and gadgets that teens might have!   OH well, we were outside enjoying our world and walking and talking about all those who aren't so lucky to have these green places in their lives...… 
 It was pajama day at school so she had her stuffy Rexie and knit doll Eloise with her,  who, along with my knit doll, Charlotte,  put on fabulous acrobatic performances once we got home.   (extra,the performers  resting after their exertions)  Some shrink art, then  pizza for dinner. and more ice cream.
