He Wouldn't Turn Toward the Light........

This Brown Pelican is the one we usually see on the Oregon Coast. We often see them diving in Tillamook Bay but this one stopped to groom himself on a post. He was close enough to get some good shots but I only got one shot of him before my battery died and I didn't have a back up because I had used my extra yesterday at Cape Lookout and forgot to charge it.  :-(( Oh well, at least I got this one for today's Blip.
