Sunday lunch

California Girl is back in Scotland, and she received a text from her friend S suggesting they meet for lunch. Luckily it was suggested I accompany them.

A new restaurant has opened in Newport in what was part of the Ferry Terminal where ferries departed for Dundee. The last ferry ran some 50 odd years ago when the Tay Road Bridge opened for business.

The building was rather rundown however it has been well restored, and is now open for business.

The extra shows the view from the Restaurant across the Tay to Dundee. A great view and the narrow beach is full of drift wood and the remains of reeds from the reed beds up toward Perth.

Great meal, but the chat and meeting of friends is so much better,
