Wet ‘N’ Windy

I love rugby, particularly amateur, local rugby, played by those who do it for the fun, camaraderie and love of the game.
One of the things that makes local amateur rugby good to watch is local rivalries, Falmouth Eagles is with Penryn.
The clubs have completely opposing reputations, family friendly and win at all costs.
Today’s 2nd XV match bears that out, the game was played in torrential rain but it was played which was a surprise as Penryn had called off their two opening fixtures due to a lack of players.
It was a decent game that swung too and fro but the ploy of playing uncontested scrums meant that Falmouth lost their advantage from the off and with it the match.
A wet day and a little downbeat as Josh prepares to head off tomorrow.
