An early, and chilly, start to get mum to EDI on time. She's off to sunny, and warmer, France. I was back on the road just after 9.30 and had plenty of time to spend money and reclaim money at the Secret Herb Garden and Sainsbury's. I got home as DHL delivered my books followed by the Royal Mail delivering the last package.

I've dropped my handbag off with the famous Polish gentleman in his idiosyncratic shop. He came with a bear. And I had time to marvel at the lofty interior of the Sacred Heart before doing adaptation in the Lyceum. There are more icons in the church.
