Autumn Walking In

After a long catchup with a friend, I stopped to grab some wild October color in the near silence of the woods. Autumn is slowly walking in this year.

Excerpt from “Time” by May Sarton

“O, in this single hour I live
All of myself and do not move
I, the pursued, who madly ran
Stand still, stand still, and stop the sun!”
