The Bounty

This here is Discovery Bay's recent acquisition and claim to fame ... The actual Bounty from the movie 'Mutiny on the Bounty' starring Mel Gibson.

It's been in DB for about 3 yrs now and is used for corporate functions, private parties, and charity events. Costs about £2000 to rent for a private party, fully catered for, I think. I did inquire for my 40th a few years ago, but it was well out of my budget and much to GK's delight, as she gets rather sea sick ;-)

Happened to be in around the area where it's moored and so got the picture for blip today.
