Sunny reflections

What a beautiful day and I had a last minute invite to join some friends on a circular walk from Plymouth.  We caught the ferry to Cremyll and walked inland via a picturesque quay to Kingsand and Cawsand.  So many butterflies were around making the most of one of the last sunny days for awhile, we saw Common blues, Brimstones, Small Copper, Red Admirals and even a White Admiral.  Once at Kingsand we had fun trying to find the position where a watercolour was painted in the 1800's that one of my friends had from his childhood.  Maybe we found it but a little more research is needed.

The villages are very attractive but it was the reflection of the sun in this cottage window that caught my eye today.

Such lovely walking weather with the Autumnal chill now felt late afternoon.  A fairly long but enjoyable day with a quick scamper out for the camera club in the evening.
