Geranium

Today was forecast as windy and wet as Storm Alex passed through. I was rushing to finish my reading book but ended by being diverted into looking for accommodation for a short break with our daughter’s family in the area they are looking to move to. This took a very long time but a list was drawn up. Then it was a zoom bookclub meeting and surprisingly the sun was out. We were discussing Girl, Woman, Other by Bernadine Evaristo - a Booker Prize Winner 2019. It’s well worth reading, very different and quite enlightening. We had a good discussion despite one members audio fading in and out.
