Cambridge Certificate

Back in June Bas had his Cambridge Assessment exams in Leeuwarden.
Later, during the summer holidays, he got the news he passed and today, finally, he got the certificate. Official proof!

We're so proud of what he's achieved. He's doing so well in school, despite all the things he has gone through this year. And still has to go through..(next Monday we'll be consulting his surgeon again. Chances are he will have to have another operation on his finger to get more functions back)

But all that is next week, today we say once again: Well done Bas!!

Actually Annemarie and I were back in the hospital again this morning. Annemarie had an appointment at the dental surgeon. She had two wisdom teeth removed. Ouch!!

After a treatment of approx 30 minutes she came out of the treatment room a bit pale and a thick cheek and couldn't speak because she had to bite a gauze pad for at least 30 minutes to stop the bleeding.
She's been feeling miserable the rest of the day, despite a regular dosis of paracetamol. I hope she'll get better soon.
