Bathurst

This is one end of the bridge over the Macquarie River heading east. There are parklands and 6 flagpoles. The one on the end is the Australian flag the next three are changed depending on who is visiting our city or major events and the last two are the Aboriginal flag and the Torres Strait Islander flag.

In the shot today you can see a police blockade, they were testing for alcohol in the regular Random Breath Test. They will be vigilant for the next few weeks as this is
1. A long weekend
2. Day before the football grand final
3. a week before the Bathurst Car Race which draws thousands to our town.

I was heading out to take a blip of a particular home but the sun was in the wrong place .....so I’ve decided to put this one up instead.
