Homework

Katie came home last night with one of her "homework sheets". Until now, they've been silly, but understandable things. Help Mummy with something in the kitchen. Find things to compare big and little. She liked last night's though, which we did today. She had to draw her favourite Christmas present. She's just suddenly turned a corner with her drawing the past couple of weeks. The picture she's drawn is her baby. She drew it all with the paper that way round too. So baby was horizontal to her. It even had eyebrows, feet and hands. She then drew her watch. With the straps, with the hands, and with "numbers". And finished it all off with her name. I was rather proud of her for the effort.

Tracy came round to see us this afternoon. Her and I went to get Katie, who was very excited again at having had a day with Brooke. Tracy came for tea with us, and a play with the rabbits. Katie had a really big long cuddle with BabyGrey tonight. She (Katie) was quite tired when she got back, and snuggling was what she wanted lots of - with Mummy and apparently with the rabbits too!
