St Mary's Church, Bury St Edmunds

Enjoyed two separate tours of Bury St Edmunds today.  The first took us into the Abbey gardens where John from the Tourist Office told us of the history and legends surrounding St Edmund after whom the town is named.  After lunch we enjoyed a backstage tour of the Royal Theatre but still found a little time to explore this lovely church where Mary Tudor, sister of Henry VIII, lies buried.
