It took me almost 30 minutes to drive down the mountain early this morning instead of my usual 10.  The roads were rather 'tricky'.  Thankfully I have a very good 4 wheel drive truck with good winter tires.  

We are celebrating Canadian Thanksgiving this weekend and our kids and grandkids are coming up to join us which meant I had to stock up on groceries and supplies for their arrival.

This ranch is at the base of our mountain and I loved the light of the early morning rays and the mist that was rising as the sun caressed the snow.
