California Girl completed the portrait of Dog this morning, after we had a last conversation about it.

She then investigated a different version which was quickly mocked up on her iPad Pro using Procreate. Literally a 5 minute exercise to photograph the painting, open it in Procreate, add an additional layer and explore the alternative treatment.

We both agreed the alternative treatment was the better option and the original was then completed. Of course, It took slightly more time than 5 minutes using real paint and real brushes.

Adding her red signature completed the work. It has now been varnished and she will then frame it.
