The torrential rain, and then some, last until around 1pm and then gradually the day began to brighten to a grey cloud. It's a big bonus after such insane rain!

Favourite moment of the school year so far today when doing our PSHE lesson this afternoon. The topic was who lives in your house. It came to the turn of one little boy, who I know has a little brother, to say who lives in his house.

"There's my Mum, my Dad and my dog."

"Anybody else?"

"Well I've got a rabbit but that's outside"

"And anybody else?"

"I had some fish but they dead now"

"Any other people?"

"I do have a baby brother but he hasn't been alive or breathing very long"
