Gilbert Run Drought

The center of the boardwalk was collapsed when the record breaking spring deluge happened. Now we are in an extreme drought and the entire beaver dammed area by the boardwalk is a mud flat. I wonder where the beavers have gone.
Extra is a starburst over the edge of the wetland on the lake
