Can't Decide!

It's been a full on day.  Tony and I had some early morning cuddle time with Euan whilst Mum and Dad caught up on sleep then, after breakfast, Rob and I walked in to Boston to check out a day care centre.  It is a Jewish centre, run on their equivalent of Montessori philosophy, and I could have spent the morning on the carpet with those little ones in the infant room!  The music teacher had just arrived and the 6-13 month olds were in a circle around him as he played the guitar and sang a good morning song, then the shakers came out and they were having a great time.  Rob and I were very taken with the atmosphere of caring in the place and the staff/baby ratio but unfortunately that means they are very popular, so it is yet another waiting list.

We walked back to the apartment as the rain began, had a cup of tea and then it was time for Tony and I to walk back in to the city to catch the train north to Salem.  By the time we arrived it was lunch time so we found the cafe recommended by Alan and Margaret, Gulu Gulu, and enjoyed relaxing in the busy, fun ambience of the place whilst our food arrived.  Then it was off to the hardware store for some plastic sheeting to try and keep the dust out of the living room so that Becky and Euan can come visit.  We walked in the increasingly heavy rain, back through the town and across the river to the house and set about our preparations for painting the staircase in readiness for the carpet.

A couple of hours later and an even soggier walk back to the station and we were on the train back in to Boston and back to the apartment.  We are both shattered now!

Euan is proving to be a particularly windy baby, so this is him this morning unable to decide whether to wake up fully or go to sleep.
