Treetop Nets

A very busy day - including a trip to the park, borrowing toys from the library and playing with them, a trip to Brockhole, shopping for a Comic, making lego, doing activities from the Comic, painting the parts of a balsa wood build it yourself aeroplane, and eating stick toffee pudding!

He's been a very good boy throughout - charming and pleasant company for all.

This time at Brockhole he was old enough to go on the treetop nets without parental supervision, and chose to go on his own.  He's been before, and the man tested him to see if he remembered the safety briefing and he did - so he got in without waiting for a safety briefing...  I think he grew about six inches between being allowed to go in alone and being allowed to skip the safety briefing!  Here he is heading up into the nets with one of the bags you go in to come down the slides (see Sliding).
