Cutbacks

Our brown garden waste recycling bins are collected on Monday, so after I got home from church this morning I changed into gardening clothes and, having armed myself with various sharp implements, got to work.

I had already filled my own brown bin several weeks ago (they are emptied only every four weeks) so I was thankful to my neighbours for letting me top up theirs. Just as I had filled the bin, and taken a photo for posting on my journal (I wasn't going to have time to post anything else today), the rain started. Job done. Coffee time.

Oh, and the Scotland football team won. A rare occurrence!
