Apple and craft fair

L and I spent an enjoyable day at the fair a few miles away.  First we were taken around the orchards in a minibus trailer( minus its engine and bonnet) and pulled by an old vintage tractor.  There were rows and rows and fields and fields of trees with masses of apples of all descriptions and colour.  We then went into an old barn where  pumpkin soup and bread was being served followed by a large choice of homemade cakes. There were many craft stalls, basket work, pottery, glass, homespun clothes and rugs, woodwork etc etc.

After having bought a few items we went back to the farm and apple shop to look at and sample all the different species of apple we had seen growing on the trees and to hopefully buy their corresponding apple juices.  A percentage of the profits was going towards a cystic fibrosis charity.
