Fading bloom

There is still colour in the garden. But as the strength of the sun fades so too does the intensity of colour in the petals.

In the summer these dahlias were vibrant. They are more delicate now.

After Sunday school I got the Christmas cakes underway, wrote up the AGM of the radio unit, sorted out some finances and correspondence, tidied up (again), had a visit from the architect and looked up onto the roof, began (at last) to start on the bags of papers and stuff needing sorted, and watched some TV. All without the feeling I should be diverting my attention onto work.
A feeling I could get used to!
